The C.U.B. (Compact Utility Blade) is designed to serve as a compact and lightweight sidekick to a machete/bolo/parang in a tropical environment or of a tomahawk/axe in a forest environment. It is capable of performing all the important utility functions for camp and food preparation, leaving the heavy lifting to the other cutting tools. CARE AND MAINTENANCE: This product uses a NON stainless steel with a high carbon content - it is therefore recommended to wash it under running water and dry it immediately manually with a clean cotton cloth or absorbent paper. To avoid the formation of rust and oxidation it is also highly recommended, after having dried it well, to protect the blade with a lubricant (eg grease, paraffin, lanolin, vaseline) that creates a protective barrier between the steel and the atmosphere.
