Swedish designer Jens Sandriger during a trip to Beijing.

Having dinner at a famous Japanese restaurant in the city, Jens thought: this is really cool!

Before his eyes, the chef had just ground a Himalayan pink salt gem directly onto the guests' plates. That's when the Rivsalt idea was born: a unique dining experience that puts salt truly at the center of the table and the kitchen.
