The sword of Ivanhoe, disinherited and exiled by his father Cedric the Saxon for swearing love to Lady Rowena.

The story narrated takes place in England in the year 1194, at the time of King Richard the Lionheart and the Crusades, in conjunction with the controversies that divide the Saxons and the Normans.

The Knight Wilfred of Ivanhoe, son of the Saxon noble Cedric, loves, in return, the young lady Rowena. Cedric contrasts the love between the two, as he has already politically decided to marry Rowena to Athelstane with the aim of returning after a long time, a Saxon lineage to the throne and tries to remove Ivanhoe, friend of the Norman king Riccardo Cuor of Leone.

The young man thus participates in the crusades, following Riccardo. John the Landless in the absence of his brother illegally appropriates the throne. Upon returning from the Crusades, Ivanhoe participates in a tournament in which he manages to win against all the champions affiliated with the usurper. Marto - Antique effect Celtic Dagger - Dagger historical

A peculiar characteristic of Celtic swords was the handle in the form of "X", otherwise known as anthropomorphic handle. The arms of the X constituted the lower limbs (wrapped around the "strength" of the blade) and higher than a human male whose head stood in the spot usually occupied by the knob. In the oldest specimens (sixth century BC), the anthropomorphic shape was very strong, with the "arms" of the man-handle raised in a praying position, almost forming a trident.
