From the very beginning, their compact size and shape made them ideal companions for everyday use. And that has not changed to this day. Like the Alpha Two X, on the occasion of the company's 10th anniversary, with the original handle design from the first generation. The new Classic Edition also features other details, such as the locking mechanism, the pocket clip that can be mounted on either the right or left side, and the two-handed blade opening.

It is not only the Pohl Force that is celebrating an anniversary, but also the designer and company founder Dietmar Pohl. In the early 1990s, now 30 years ago, he created his first knife designs on paper, thus opening a new chapter in his life. The Japanese steel manufacturer Hitachi's ATS-34, which is the counterpart to the American 154CM steel, was one of the most popular steels of the time. For almost a decade, ATS-34 steel remained the first choice of custom knife manufacturers, before powder metallurgy steel took off in the 2000s. To mark the company's anniversary, Dietmar Pohl was able to obtain 'his' steel again in a very limited quantity and use it for the Classic Edition of the Bravo One / Two. The highly corrosion-resistant ATS-34 impresses with its exceptional sharpness and high edge retention.

Although it was never officially introduced, it clearly demonstrated its capabilities in the Vietnam War, especially in the hands of American special forces. Almost 70 years after its first design, the modern Pohl Force interpretation of this classic represents the perfect fusion of old-school classic design and modern high-tech production.

Designer Dietmar Pohl has revised the design of the Quebec One and expanded the knife's range of functions. The blade of the new Quebec Two is now made of D2 steel instead of Sleipner, which brings higher levels of carbon and chromium, thus significantly improving cut and corrosion resistance. As a Filipino martial arts enthusiast, Italian knife designer Alessandra De Santis of Hydra Design decided to design a Karambit knife for Boker Plus. These sickle-shaped knives originated in Southeast Asia and were preferably used for harvesting rice. In contrast, the Karambit from Boker Plus comes in a tactical guise. The 154CM Hawkbill blade effortlessly slices its way through cardboard and ropes, while the G10 handle and sturdy linerlock provide the necessary safety on the job.

Light weight and high efficiency form the backbone of the pocket knife named after the Norse goddess of the underworld. As an alternative to the flipper opening, the knife offers a thumb stud screwed into the back of the blade whose shape also serves as an "Emerson Wave"-style opening. Alessandra De Santis' characteristic angular design elements are found in the G10 ring at the end of the handle. The flush, reversible clip allows for flexible knife carrying. With the Quebec One, Pohl Force has implemented a classic use knife that
has been high on the wish list of company founder Dietmar Pohl for more than 20 years. Finally Pohl Force has received exclusive permission of the original manufacturer to be able to use the basic design for its own interpretation. As a “Ground Forces Combat & General Purpose Weapon“ the knife was developed in the early ‚50’s for the U.S. Marine Corps.
Although never officially introduced, it was used in Vietnam -mainly in the hands of Special Forces units where it clearly demonstrated its capabilities. Pohl Force has now recreated 60 years later a modern interpretation of this classic knife which displays the optimal fusion of a classic old school design, with modern high- tech manufacturing.
