The Pohl Force LAST BLOOD® CNC² Edition MK-9 is a perfectly designed knife in the eye-catching Spear Point style that looks like a modern, tactical tool in the unmistakable Pohl design.

Only strong and high quality materials are used for its manufacturing: the stainless steel 90Cr18MoV (440C) hardened at 57/58HRC gives the 23cm long and 6mm thick blade a high corrosion resistance and an excellent edge retention. The full tang construction is topped with a micarta handle that ends in an aesthetic element that can be used as a striking tool.

The micarta machining gives the handle a distinctive look with three-dimensional millings, and the handle and blade are visually connected by a CNC-milled guard machined from a solid block of stainless steel. A subhilt on the underside of the handle provides maximum control in handling the blade giving the MK-9 a distinctive look. The Japanese steel manufacturer Hitachi's ATS-34, which is the counterpart to the American 154CM steel, was one of the most popular steels of the time. For almost a decade, ATS-34 steel remained the first choice of custom knife manufacturers, before powder metallurgy steel took off in the 2000s. To mark the company's anniversary, Dietmar Pohl was able to obtain 'his' steel again in a very limited quantity and use it for the Classic Edition of the Bravo One / Two. The highly corrosion-resistant ATS-34 impresses with its exceptional sharpness and high edge retention.

Developed as the Ground Forces Combat & General Purpose Weapon, the multi-purpose knife was designed for the U.S. Marine Corps in the early 1950s. Although it was never officially introduced, it clearly demonstrated its capabilities in the Vietnam War, especially in the hands of American special forces. Almost 70 years after its first design, the modern Pohl Force interpretation of this classic represents the perfect fusion of old-school classic design and modern high-tech production.

Designer Dietmar Pohl has revised the design of the Quebec One and expanded the knife's range of functions. The blade of the new Quebec Two is now made of D2 steel instead of Sleipner, which brings higher levels of carbon and chromium, thus significantly improving cut and corrosion resistance. In addition, Dietmar Pohl has once again optimized the blade of the classic. The new version now has a 10 mm longer cutting edge and a secondary edge on the back.

Zero Tolerance and Rick Hinderer teamed up to build the new 0562 with its exclusive Hinderer "slicer" grind.

The ELMAX® powdered steel blade with flat-ground “slicer” grind provides both slicing efficiency and a tough point. ELMAX is a third-generation powdered steel with virtually no nonmetallic inclusions. This means it offers an extremely uniform distribution of carbides for high wear and corrosion resistance. Zero Tolerance sharpens it to a hair popping edge and the ELMAX ensures it holds that edge for a long time, even under hard use.

The knife opens with a flipper and moves out of the handle on our smooth KVT ball-bearing opening system. A washer with caged ball bearings surrounds the pivot and makes opening the knife nearly frictionless; just pull back on the flipper and add a roll of the wrist and the 0562 is ready for action.

The handle has a G-10 textured scale in front and a stonewashed titanium back. For secure lock up during use, ZT uses a frame lock with hardened steel lockbar inserts and lockbar stabilization so the lock won't overextend.

The unique pocketclip is reversible (left/right) and enables extra-deep carry in the pocket. .
