Delightfully tactical - Alessandra De Santis/Hydra Design enchants knife enthusiasts around the world with the irresistible charm of the Boker Plus Kirke, inspired by the goddess of sorcery of the same name from Greek mythology. Despite its bewitching magic, the Italian knife designer stays true to its tactical line and keeps the pocket knife in a muted black color.

The ball-bearing-opening blade, made of Nitro-V steel with an austere black stonewash finish can be operated either in flipper or with the generous thumb opening, while the push-button lock ensures intuitive knife release.

Pronounced finger recesses, fine texture on the G10 handle grips and a thumb recess on the back of the blade ensure a secure grip at all times and a high level of safety at work, even in the most adverse conditions.

As a Filipino martial arts enthusiast, Italian knife designer Alessandra De Santis of Hydra Design decided to design a Karambit knife for Boker Plus. These sickle-shaped knives originated in Southeast Asia and were preferably used for harvesting rice. In contrast, the Karambit from Boker Plus comes in a tactical guise. The 154CM Hawkbill blade effortlessly slices its way through cardboard and ropes, while the G10 handle and sturdy linerlock provide the necessary safety on the job.

Light weight and high efficiency form the backbone of the pocket knife named after the Norse goddess of the underworld. As an alternative to the flipper opening, the knife offers a thumb stud screwed into the back of the blade whose shape also serves as an "Emerson Wave"-style opening. Alessandra De Santis' characteristic angular design elements are found in the G10 ring at the end of the handle. The flush, reversible clip allows for flexible knife carrying. The new Zero Tolerance 0609 is a smaller, even more carry-ready version of the original Factory Custom 0606CF from ZT, RJ Martin, and Matt Martin. Like the original, it offers a clean, streamlined look yet also has highly detailed handle machining that adds both grip and visual impact. For even more visual “wow,” the 3D-machined handle is built of light-yet-strong titanium that ZT has anodized in an attractive bronze.

The 3.4-inch blade is CPM 20CV, which provides enhanced toughness and resistance to edge chipping. It also delivers superior hardness, corrosion resistance, and excellent edge retention. The drop-point blade has a two-tone finish: machined satin on the grinds with a stonewashed finish on the flats. The new 0609 opens manually with ZT’s KVT ball-bearing opening system and the handy flipper so it’s always ready when you want it.

Last—but certainly not least—you’ll notice the oversized See-Through Pivot (STP). Designed by RJ Martin, this unique, pivot is hollow in the center, letting you “see through” it. The See-Through Pivot adds another intriguing touch to this already-attractive knife.
