It is often referred to as the 'mini 119 Special' because it shares the classic style of Buck's first fixed knives. The knife offers two main cutting options: the clip-shaped blade tip for precise and detailed work, and the middle part of the blade for sturdier and tougher tasks.

A notable feature of the 117 Brahma Pro is its traditional guard and pommel. These elements help ensure greater control and stability during use. In addition, the knife comes with a black genuine leather sheath that features a belt loop for convenient and accessible carrying.
