The CL1 Cleaver was born from Expat's extensive international culinary experience, both in the kitchen and in the wilderness. “Expat” is a real person. An instructor, adventurer, world traveler and many other things mixed together. While working in some of the most dangerous areas of South America, Expat contacted ESEE seeking jungle survival training in extreme scenarios. Thus began a close partnership that has now lasted for more than 15 years.

Expat has traveled thousands of miles around the Third World, sometimes with the ESEE team, but always with ESEE products. From armored caravans in Colombia and expeditions to the Himalayas, to earthquakes in El Salvador and hunting in the Balkans, ESEE knives have been a constant companion. He has been a student, translator and instructor for Randall's Adventure Training. During his time abroad, he developed unique insights into tools and adventures and is currently working with ESEE to bring these designs and experiences to others.

What started with a knife cleaver will end up ... well, who knows? That is the whole purpose of the Expat Experience.

The Moros is an excellent choice for field use or tactical applications. This well-balanced blade is the perfect blend of size and performance. After over 40 years of service in the US Army Special Forces, Curtis Iovito and Mark Carey founded Spartan Blades LLC in North Carolina. Curtis, who had been designing knives for friends in the special forces, and Mark, who worked with military and tactical equipment in the "Green Berets," decided to combine their skills and passion to create innovative and functional knives using the highest quality materials, entirely made in the United States.

The Harsey TT (Tactical Trout) is designed to be a very comfortable and sturdy medium-sized knife for most field tasks and defensive use. The size of the TT makes it easy to carry and handle.

The blade profile provides a clean cut with excellent tip strength. The full tang and handle of the Harsey TT provide neutral balance in the user's hand. The ergonomically shaped, linen Micarta handle provides a comfortable and secure grip when dry or wet. The pommel has a lanyard hole in the center of the angled tip. Folding knife made by Lion Steel with BÖHLER M390 MICROCLEAN satin steel blade, opening with removable pinball and two-handed opening nail, rotation mechanism with ball bearings. Stainless steel liner lock, spacer and solid anodized titanium blue clip, stainless steel screws with anodized blue titanium rotating pin. Available in eight versions that differ in the materials used for the handle: carbon fiber, black G10, olive wood, Santos wood. For each of these materials, versions with or without titanium plates are available.
