Knives made in collaboration with Dönges are specialized tools for difficult and demanding rescue operations. What the products have in common are the red G10 handles with non-slip Dönges honeycomb structure, the incredibly tough and high-performance D2 steel blades and the presence of a glass breaker. In Norse mythology, Andhrimnir tirelessly took care of the physical well-being of the gods and the honorably fallen heroes, who thoroughly enjoyed their existence in the carefree warriors' paradise, Valhalla.

For this purpose, he slaughtered the beast Sæhrimnir day after day, which was then resurrected at night to be eaten again the following day. A fleeting glance at Midgard (the Norse term for earth/world) would have elevated the chef's status even further in the eyes of the gods. This is because the knife craftsman Dirk Hofmeister knows like no other how to create mythical blades infused with Norse magic.

As a Filipino martial arts enthusiast, Italian knife designer Alessandra De Santis of Hydra Design decided to design a Karambit knife for Boker Plus. These sickle-shaped knives originated in Southeast Asia and were preferably used for harvesting rice. In contrast, the Karambit from Boker Plus comes in a tactical guise. The black-coated 154CM Hawkbill blade effortlessly slices its way through cardboard and ropes, while the black G10 handle and sturdy linerlock provide much-needed safety on the job.

Light weight and high efficiency form the backbone of the pocket knife named after the Norse goddess of the underworld. As an alternative to the flipper opening, the knife offers a thumb stud screwed into the back of the blade whose shape also serves as an "Emerson Wave"-style opening. Alessandra De Santis' characteristic angular design elements are found in the G10 ring at the end of the handle. The flush, reversible clip allows for flexible knife carrying.
