“Expat” is a real person. An instructor, adventurer, world traveler and many other things mixed together. While working in some of the most dangerous areas of South America, Expat contacted ESEE seeking jungle survival training in extreme scenarios. Thus began a close partnership that has now lasted for more than 15 years.

Expat has traveled thousands of miles around the Third World, sometimes with the ESEE team, but always with ESEE products. From armored caravans in Colombia and expeditions to the Himalayas, to earthquakes in El Salvador and hunting in the Balkans, ESEE knives have been a constant companion. He has been a student, translator and instructor for Randall's Adventure Training. During his time abroad, he developed unique insights into tools and adventures and is currently working with ESEE to bring these designs and experiences to others.

What started with a knife cleaver will end up ... well, who knows? That is the whole purpose of the Expat Experience.

The innovative Boker Plus S-Rail is a lightweight knife equipped with a one-sided ground D2 blade that is slid frontally and manually from the handle. As a Filipino martial arts enthusiast, Italian knife designer Alessandra De Santis of Hydra Design decided to design a Karambit knife for Boker Plus. These sickle-shaped knives originated in Southeast Asia and were preferably used for harvesting rice. In contrast, the Karambit from Boker Plus comes in a tactical guise. The black-coated 154CM Hawkbill blade effortlessly slices its way through cardboard and ropes, while the black G10 handle and sturdy linerlock provide much-needed safety on the job.

Light weight and high efficiency form the backbone of the pocket knife named after the Norse goddess of the underworld. As an alternative to the flipper opening, the knife offers a thumb stud screwed into the back of the blade whose shape also serves as an "Emerson Wave"-style opening. Alessandra De Santis' characteristic angular design elements are found in the G10 ring at the end of the handle. The flush, reversible clip allows for flexible knife carrying. Supplied with a high-quality nylon pouch.

Knife Traditional Chilean army combat, CORVO origins are mysterious, probably arrived in the New World alongside the Spanish Conquistadors who, in turn, had "appreciated" in the war against the Moors. Undoubted affinity with Jambiya, traditional Arab knife still typical accessory menswear Yemeni.

The CORVO, the protagonist of the Pacific War, was realized in many variants the most common of which are the "Corvo Curvo" with a blade that folds almost 90°, version to which we were inspired by the "Corvo Aracameño", longest but with gentle curvature of the blade, which favors more flexibility of use.
