Fallkniven Three Kronor TK1

The “Three Kronor” line blends the latest martensitic technologies with the ancient roots of the Swedish royal family.
In fact, these knives are the only ones that can boast the royal symbol of three crowns placed on the blade and on the beautiful wooden box that contains the knife and sheath.
The rolled steel used is currently one of the best industrial steels on the market and is composed of an inner sheet of SGPS from powder, a steel already used for the U2 model, at 62HRC coupled with two outer sheaths of VG2. The knives thus reveal exceptional cutting, penetration and edge-holding qualities.

Fällkniven AB celebrates its 40th anniversary in the international knife market with a special version of its bestseller, the F1 Pilot survival knife, now made of high-quality Swedish steel (Elmax). This special model originates from 1987, when the Swedish Air Force commissioned Fällkniven to develop a new survival knife for the technical environment of the JAS 39 Griffin system.

The first delivery of thousands of F1 knives to the Swedish Armed Forces took place in August 1995, and sales to the civilian market began the following year. The success was remarkable: Fällkniven introduced an innovative philosophy for survival knives, in stark contrast to the outdated technologies that had dominated the development of combat and survival knives since World War II.

The Fallkniven H1 knife is a very handy knife with impressive strength. The H1 is our first true hunting knife and encapsulates the history of Nordic Scandinavian cutlery art. Because of this heritage, the H1 does not have a standard finger guard, but grip security is improved by the ergonomic thermorun plastic handle.

The special design of the H1 blade is used to work game while hunting. The H1 knife may look different, but it works very well. In many ways, the performance of a knife depends on the person holding it. Knowing where and how to properly carve game goes beyond the knife. Hunters must avoid wrong cuts, keep hair off the meat, avoid cutting organs, and minimize blood flowing onto the game and the hunter. Stone pocket , for sharpening , with a side ceramic 1 micron ( grain 15000 ) and with one side to the diamond 25 micron ( 600 grit ) . It has the shape of a folding knife , with quick-release mechanism with safety lock to prevent accidental opening . The closure is done by pressing and releasing the button opening .

Never before has it been so nice sharpen your knife! Not only does the new FlipStone is fun to hold and handle, but these stones for sharpening ceramic and diamond are able to create an incredible on any kind of knife sharpening .

The side of the diamond has a treatment TAN ( Alumina Titanium Nitride ) while the ceramic side is made from synthetic sapphires . Both materials are extremely durable and long lasting and come in 8 and 10 hardness on the Mohs scale ; both are able to remain perfect and long lasting , so as to ensure the best possible result , also of special steels or sintered with extremely high hardness .

The stones are joined together using special adhesives 3M and can not be separated in any way . They can be used dry or with a little water and soap or acuqa to keep the surfaces clean. If at first glance there may appear to be excessively rough , do not worry gradually become smooth with use and will improve more and more as the years to come.
