In the black STAUB cast iron pan you can effortlessly prepare juicy steaks, aromatic vegetable dishes, fried fish and tasty sauces. The ergonomic wooden handle is heat-insulating and therefore protects against burns, while at the same time making the cast iron pan easy to handle on the hob and to transfer the food to the serving plate. The black cast iron body impresses with its short heating times and optimal heat distribution and storage. This makes the pan suitable not only for preparing crispy roasts, but also for simmering, e.g. cabbage dishes. By using a suitable trivet, the pan can also be used for serving in style. Thanks to its compact size with a diameter of 20 cm, the frying pan is particularly suitable for small households.

Easy to Clean

Just wipe with a damp cloth and use a clean cloth to dry. We recommend you do not use any cleaning products as this can affect the finish of the product or immerse in water, or place in a dishwasher.

Looking After your Mills

If your mill becomes difficult to grind, particularly on a fine setting, trying clearing the mechanism. Turn the mill upside down, loosen the knob to the coarsest setting and twist the top. This will free any large peppercorns or salt crystals that may have become lodged. Retighten the knob to the desired setting. It is advised to not put salt in your pepper mill as this will corrode the carbon steel mechanism.
