ANZU is the new knife from Fox Knives inspired by the creature of the Mesopotamian religions; a powerful figure who challenged the authority of the gods by stealing from the god Enlil the Table of Destinies, an object that, when possessed, confers the power to control the Universe. Through this act of rebellion, Anzu became an example of power, strength, precision and determination, characteristics that also distinguish the new Fox Knives knife designed by Les George.

While we've seen plenty of Boker products over the years, resourceful knife makers continue to find ways to surprise us. For example, Brad Zinker from Florida with his Urban Trapper, one of the thinnest profile titanium framelocks we've ever experienced. With just 8mm grip thickness (without clip), the term "slim" only inadequately describes the Urban Trapper for its usable size.

The large holes and titanium transform the Urban Trapper into a real featherweight of just 48 g that can be carried extremely comfortably both in a suit pocket and in light summer trousers. Considering the overall minimalist design of the knife, the size of the flipper is equally reserved.

When used, it still impresses with its outstanding functionality and reliably opens the blade on VG-10 ball bearings. The blade shape of this classic trapper pocket knife, widely distributed in the United States and worn for many years by Brad Zinker, was the inspiration for this unusual piece.

The Jupiter folder represents the culmination of the evolution of the locking system already used on the well-known Radius and Saturn, compared to which it gains a new safety lock that allows the blade to inhibit rotation in both the open and closed positions.

The design takes up the salient features of the two previous models, managing to integrate even better the round element that houses the mechanics. The blade, devoted to maximum practicality, makes the Jupiter the ideal companion in both urban and woodland environments: the tip is sturdy, while the cutting edge has a smooth, steady curvature that is fully usable and easily resharpened.

The handle shines in ergonomics, featuring a wide recess for the index finger and generous space for the other fingers.
