  1. Opinel - Carpaccio Knife 30 cm - Parallèle Series N123 - Beech - kitchen knife

Wood, simplicity, efficiency: Opinel has drawn on its roots and expertise to create the Parallèle range of kitchen knives. The beech handle, sturdy and soft in the palm of the hand, with simple and softened lines, ensures a comfortable grip and an inimitable touch. The blade profiles have been designed to optimize the gesture and guarantee a perfect cut suitable for all foods.

    Materials:

Blade: Made of full-tang stainless steel, with a hardness of 55-57 HRC. The steel used guarantees high resistance to corrosion and excellent mechanical performance. The smooth blade has an excellent cutting edge, easily resharpened, which maintains its effectiveness even after use with hard materials such as ceramic.

Handle: Beech is the most commonly used wood for the manufacture of Opinel handles. Coming from French crops, it is hard, resistant and easy to work. With a homogeneous appearance, its light color varies from yellow to pink. It is recognizable by the presence of numerous dark lines. The handle is varnished to be effectively protected from dirt and moisture.

Characteristics: The blade is 1.5 mm thick, long and very flexible, allowing you to cut thin slices with a flexible back and forth movement. For cutting thin slices of ham and salmon.

    Blade length: 300mm.
    Blade thickness: 1.5mm.
    Total length: 435mm.
    Weight: 90g.

Maintenance: Hand washing is recommended to preserve the quality of the wood and the blade. Stainless steel offers low maintenance, but it is preferable to avoid prolonged contact with aggressive environments (acids, salt water, detergents).

    Advantages:

Long-lasting cutting edge and easily resharpenable.
Ergonomic and resistant handle, for a comfortable grip.

  3. ExtremaRatio - Waki Satin - Tactical Machete Knife.

The product is an elaboration of the Japanese Wakizashi sword, a typical blade 30 to 60 centimeters long, which the Samurai carried at all times in contact with the body, where the Katana was carried exclusively in battle. The Waki comes with a cordura, military-derived scabbard that ensures safe carrying of the razor-sharp blade and its protection from shocks that could reduce its efficiency. The scabbard is also equipped with the MOLLE system that allows it to be carried on tactical vests and general belts.

  5. Kai Japan - Seki Magoroku Kaname - AE-5500 - Kiritsuke 12cm. - professional kitchen knife

The core of Kaname blades is made of an extremely durable VGXeos steel with a hardness of 60-62 (±1) HRC, rolled in two layers of stainless steel. The special manufacturing method ensures an incredibly thin cutting edge that reduces friction during use. This results in excellent and durable sharpness, promoting filigree, smooth and precise cuts.

To best design the handle, we combined the experiences of professionals and consumers. The result is a black-grained pakkawood handle that creates a seamless transition from the handle to the tang. The octagonal, ergonomic shape of the handle provides good control while cutting, while the knife rests securely and comfortably in the hand.

Characteristics of San Mai Maple: These are different types of metals combined to create a composition that contains and intensifies the resistance of the metals individually:

    - Mayor vida útil del filo
Thanks to the use of very high quality maples with high carbon content (VG10, CoS, Shiro) or sintered (SPG2), in the core of the plate (Core Steel), the heat, once templada, has a hardness and a Decidedly superior court performance. which were achieved with the use of traditional maple trees.

    - Mayor resilience
Built according to the principle of Japanese swords, the multi-headed maple is difficult to break thanks to the hardness of the central maple (Core Steel) and the elasticity of the maple used for the lateral covering (Stainless Steel).

    - Better resistance to corrosion
The maple used for the external caps (Stainless Maple) guarantees the house a high resistance to corrosion. The combination of the two or more materials used by Takefu Steel generates, at the galvanic level, a structure that improves resistance to corrosion, including in the steel.

    - Easy processing including after heat treatment
Although the maple is normally hardened after the tempering, the lateral maple used in the multi-head process does not become softer and allows for easy mechanicalization, cutting or soldering even after the heat treatment. For optimal health performance, cryogenic treatment is recommended.

    - Improved aesthetic result
The cuchillos made with multi-layered maple or with damask pattern are aesthetically elegant, refined and much appreciated by collectors around the world at the end of the manufacturing process.
