Idun is a deity in Norse mythology, known as the keeper of the apples of eternal youth. These magical apples grant immortality to the gods who consume them, keeping them eternally young and vigorous. Idun plays a crucial role in the Norse pantheon, as without her apples, the gods would begin to age. A famous myth tells of how Loki kidnapped her under the order of the giant Thjazi, causing the gods to age rapidly until her release. 15. Opinel - Set of 4 Table Knives - Facette Light Ash - Table Knives

Design: Designed by the BIG-GAME studio, the Facette table knives combine comfort, efficiency and aesthetics. With their unique, chic and classic style, they add a touch of elegance to your table.

    Materials:

Blade: Made of full-tang stainless steel, with a hardness of 55-57 HRC. The steel used guarantees high resistance to corrosion and excellent mechanical performance. The smooth blade has an excellent cutting edge, easily resharpened, which maintains its effectiveness even after use with hard materials such as ceramic.

Handle: Coming from the Jura forests, ash is a hard wood, with a color ranging from light beige to white, with a light blond grain formed by regular lines.

    Characteristics:

Number of pieces: 4 table knives.
    Origin: European.

Maintenance: Hand washing is recommended to preserve the quality of the wood and the blade. Stainless steel requires little maintenance, but it is preferable to avoid prolonged contact with aggressive environments (acids, salt water, detergents).

    Advantages:

Long-lasting cutting edge that can be easily resharpened.
Ergonomic and resistant handle for a comfortable grip.
Refined aesthetics, ideal for adding a touch of class to the table.

This set represents the perfect synthesis between design and functionality, designed for those seeking quality and style in their culinary experience.

    Fallkniven Three Kronor TK1

The “Three Kronor” line blends the latest martensitic technologies with the ancient roots of the Swedish royal family.
In fact, these knives are the only ones that can boast the royal symbol of three crowns placed on the blade and on the beautiful wooden box that contains the knife and sheath.
The rolled steel used is currently one of the best industrial steels on the market and is composed of an inner sheet of SGPS from powder, a steel already used for the U2 model, at 62HRC coupled with two outer sheaths of VG2. The knives thus reveal exceptional cutting, penetration and edge-holding qualities.

Blade: Three-layer rolled 3G steel (VG2 and SGPS “Super Gold Powder Stainless Steel” at 62 HRC)
    Handle: Cocobolo wood
    Blade length: 100 mm.
    Blade thickness: 4.5 mm.

  19. MKM - Yipper - Black Top Shield CPM-MagnaCut & Black G10 - YP-GBK - knife

"Have you ever met a Yipper? You know a little dog that barks like the king of the prairie, but actually weighs less than a hamburger? A fierce puppy whose barking is worse than its bite! Here-I grew up in an area where coyotes yelp and howl at night. Their call is a bit eerie, perhaps frightening, but they are like those barking puppies: much ado about nothing. So when Igor Bortolussi of MKM asked me to design a knife, I started to design a knife that was a yipper: sharp teeth, but compassed appearance. An EDC knife that despite its name does what it's supposed to do and does it damn well!" - Ben Petersen

  28. Fallkniven - Phantom - Elmax & Desert Ironwood 40th Anniversary Set - Limited Edition - knife

Fällkniven AB celebrates its 40th anniversary in the international knife market with The Fällkniven Phantom model, a folding knife that is not only aesthetically appealing but also functional, with well-balanced proportions between handle and blade.

The blade uses advanced Swedish powdered steel (Elmax from Uddeholm), equipped with a convex edge for maximum performance. The handle is made of ironwood harvested in the southwestern United States, known for its density (1.2 kg/dm³) that makes it heavy and strong enough not to float.

The design of the Phantom follows the Scandinavian principle of "Form follows function," favoring clean, classic lines without superfluous details.

The Phantom comes in a gift box with a multifunctional leather case with a belt clip that can be worn either horizontally or vertically.

    Intended use: sports/hunting/utility

  29. Fallkniven - F1 Elmax - 40th Anniversary Set - Limited Edition - knife

Fällkniven AB celebrates its 40th anniversary in the international knife market with a special version of its bestseller, the F1 Pilot survival knife, now made of high-quality Swedish steel (Elmax). This special model originates from 1987, when the Swedish Air Force commissioned Fällkniven to develop a new survival knife for the technical environment of the JAS 39 Griffin system.

The first delivery of thousands of F1 knives to the Swedish Armed Forces took place in August 1995, and sales to the civilian market began the following year. The success was remarkable: Fällkniven introduced an innovative philosophy for survival knives, in stark contrast to the outdated technologies that had dominated the development of combat and survival knives since World War II.

  31. Fallkniven - H1 Zytel - Elmax & Thermorun - Swedish hunting knife

The Fallkniven H1 knife is a very handy knife with impressive strength. The H1 is our first true hunting knife and encapsulates the history of Nordic Scandinavian cutlery art. Because of this heritage, the H1 does not have a standard finger guard, but grip security is improved by the ergonomic thermorun plastic handle.

The special design of the H1 blade is used to work game while hunting. The H1 knife may look different, but it works very well. In many ways, the performance of a knife depends on the person holding it. Knowing where and how to properly carve game goes beyond the knife. Hunters must avoid wrong cuts, keep hair off the meat, avoid cutting organs, and minimize blood flowing onto the game and the hunter. The combination of an experienced hunter and a well-designed knife is unbeatable!
