Idun is a deity in Norse mythology, known as the keeper of the apples of eternal youth. These magical apples grant immortality to the gods who consume them, keeping them eternally young and vigorous. Idun plays a crucial role in the Norse pantheon, as without her apples, the gods would begin to age. A famous myth tells of how Loki kidnapped her under the order of the giant Thjazi, causing the gods to age rapidly until her release. Fallkniven Three Kronor TK1

The “Three Kronor” line blends the latest martensitic technologies with the ancient roots of the Swedish royal family.
In fact, these knives are the only ones that can boast the royal symbol of three crowns placed on the blade and on the beautiful wooden box that contains the knife and sheath.
The rolled steel used is currently one of the best industrial steels on the market and is composed of an inner sheet of SGPS from powder, a steel already used for the U2 model, at 62HRC coupled with two outer sheaths of VG2. The knives thus reveal exceptional cutting, penetration and edge-holding qualities.

Fällkniven AB celebrates its 40th anniversary in the international knife market with a special version of its bestseller, the F1 Pilot survival knife, now made of high-quality Swedish steel (Elmax). This special model originates from 1987, when the Swedish Air Force commissioned Fällkniven to develop a new survival knife for the technical environment of the JAS 39 Griffin system.

The first delivery of thousands of F1 knives to the Swedish Armed Forces took place in August 1995, and sales to the civilian market began the following year. The success was remarkable: Fällkniven introduced an innovative philosophy for survival knives, in stark contrast to the outdated technologies that had dominated the development of combat and survival knives since World War II.

The Fallkniven H1 knife is a very handy knife with impressive strength. The H1 is our first true hunting knife and encapsulates the history of Nordic Scandinavian cutlery art. Because of this heritage, the H1 does not have a standard finger guard, but grip security is improved by the ergonomic thermorun plastic handle.

The special design of the H1 blade is used to work game while hunting. The H1 knife may look different, but it works very well. In many ways, the performance of a knife depends on the person holding it. Knowing where and how to properly carve game goes beyond the knife. Hunters must avoid wrong cuts, keep hair off the meat, avoid cutting organs, and minimize blood flowing onto the game and the hunter. This year's colors come from the 17th century Mora folk dress, one of Sweden's oldest folk dresses. Here the green fabric meets the classic Dala Red color typical of our knives. Together, they breathe new life into the color combination that once made the people of Mora famous all over the world.

Mora folk dress is still worn by people on special occasions, such as midsummer, weddings or folk music events. Over the years, the dress has undergone few changes and has remained largely the same as it always has. The Mora folk dress and the Morakniv are both worn with pride, in keeping with the tradition established by the ancestors and the heritage that has been developed and cultivated over the years.

The knife, with its ergonomic barrel-shaped polymer handle, features a sturdy finger guard and a 2.0 mm-thick carbon steel blade that provides strength and stability with every cut.
