ROK, which is part of the SOLID knives family obtained from a single piece of aluminum or titanium, has two important innovations:

* the introduction of the new H.WAYL System; this is a LionSteel patent that allows the clip to disappear inside the handle during use of the knife. The clip can only appear when needed.

* the introduction of NFC technology in the knife box. With this system, the user no longer has to search for product information, but the knife itself makes it available: maintenance instructions, in-depth information on the production process, or more general information on LionSteel.

As was already the case for the TRE model, the user has the option of removing the flipper, thus opting for a more traditional two-handed blade opening. Skinny, LionSteel's versatile new folding knife, features a SOLID billet construction and a CPM-MagnaCut steel blade.

It is opened incredibly smoothly via a flipper system supported by IKBS ball bearings, with the option of removing the flipper tab to comply with carry regulations found in some nations transforming the knife into a two-handed opening pocket knife. 

The sturdy SOLID handle is made of titanium or aluminum, with carbon fiber or micarta inserts. Both versions feature a Frame Lock type locking system and a removable and reversible pocket clip.
