The Amphibian is a true Marfione classic dating back over 20 years. It comes from a bygone era when Microtech knives could be both automatic and manual--in one. Here we have the manual version that incorporates Tony's RAM-LOK design with a reversible pocket clip and two thumb studs for a fully ambidextrous knife that sacrifices nothing in any way. It features Bohler's proprietary M390MK steel, available only from Microtech Knives. The VULPIS series was born out of the need to create a compact, versatile, multi-purpose knife with a modern design that perfectly matches historical products. The inspiration for the creation of this line starts from the DUCA, the name of the typical multi-purpose knife of the people of Maniago, a knife that originated in the second half of the 1800s in Maniago, when hunting knife sharpeners with different sized blades, ivory toothpicks and tweezers for removing thorns were made.

These knives were presented at the 1888 National Exposition in Turin by the Bet Giovanni company, which won a gold medal for the quality of its products. So it was that, most likely, Luigi Amedeo di Savoia, Duke of the Abruzzi, decided to visit one of the company's two stores in Turin, where he saw and ordered the four-bladed multi-purpose knife, which he chose as part of the equipment for the North Pole expedition he commanded in 1899.

Following the market novelties, which are always numerous, I thought of designing a folder that was very compact and that expressed solidity from the very first impact, once gripped. The salient features that had to be present were: an excellent grip, a prerogative I try to apply in all my designs, and a type of blade that was very usable even for heavy work, despite its small size. In designing the Belone, Danish Jesper Voxnaes started from typical lines of the Italian regional tradition, perfectly reworked according to his modern, minimalist style that has made him famous worldwide. The result is a light, tapered folding knife embellished with refined details, such as the holes in the back of the handle.
The Böhler M390 Microclean steel gives the Belone excellent cutting qualities, and the ball bearings make it the fastest flipper opening, perfectly integrated into the overall design. The carefully crafted ergonomically designed handle has an anodized titanium frame enclosed between thin carbon fiber folders. The Belone's clip is attached to the spacer so that the knife disappears completely into the pocket, maintaining maximum discretion.

Designed by master designer Fabrizio Silvestrelli, Moon is Viper's first knife to adopt the hardened "button lock," a locking mechanism that is activated by a button on the handle. This type of lock provides a secure and reliable lock for the blade. 

A state-of-the-art steel such as MagnaCut was chosen for the blade: a high-strength steel known for its hardness and edge retention capacity. Thanks to these properties, the blade is able to tackle a variety of tasks without any problems. 

The handle has an ergonomic and comfortable grip. The 3D finish gives the handle a unique look and provides a secure grip during use. The handle is precisely designed to fit the shape of the hand, ensuring optimal control of the knife.
