Gabriele Sammatrice/Sicilian Forge Custom Knives is a skilled craftsman who offers blades with character, strength and cutting edges of the highest level. He often uses A8 Modified tool steel: a very strong alloy steel. The most common use of this alloy is in striking blades. It has extreme toughness with good edge retention. The 8.5% chromium makes it almost stainless.

A8-mod is a modified version of AISI A8. It is a tool steel with a medium carbon content and alloyed with chromium, molybdenum and vanadium. This steel is an improvement on A8 steel, with good hardenability, toughness and dimensional stability to heat treatment.

The legacy of a classic - timeless - traditionally enduring and interpreted in a contemporary way by Boker Plus. The original Barlow probably owes its name to the enterprising knife maker from Sheffield, who began exporting robust knives to North America around 1800. 

The characteristic teardrop shape of the folding knife dates back to the 17th century, making it one of the oldest designs of all time. Daughter of Zeus and Themis, Atropos was the oldest of the three goddesses of fate in Greek mythology and, by cutting the thread of life, decided the good and evil of every human being. Captivated by this fascinating unease, American knife designer Chuck Gedraitis breaks free from the clutches of fate with the Boker Plus Atropos and takes control of the threads once more.

The shape of the tactical knife is modeled on the legendary tactical knives of Rex Applegate and respects its DNA with every cut. Symmetry is one of its distinguishing features, which is reflected both in the single-edged VG-10 blade and the ergonomic light brown Micarta handle. Fallkniven Three Kronor TK1

The “Three Kronor” line blends the latest martensitic technologies with the ancient roots of the Swedish royal family.
In fact, these knives are the only ones that can boast the royal symbol of three crowns placed on the blade and on the beautiful wooden box that contains the knife and sheath.
The rolled steel used is currently one of the best industrial steels on the market and is composed of an inner sheet of SGPS from powder, a steel already used for the U2 model, at 62HRC coupled with two outer sheaths of VG2. The knives thus reveal exceptional cutting, penetration and edge-holding qualities.

Fällkniven AB celebrates its 40th anniversary in the international knife market with a special version of its bestseller, the F1 Pilot survival knife, now made of high-quality Swedish steel (Elmax). This special model originates from 1987, when the Swedish Air Force commissioned Fällkniven to develop a new survival knife for the technical environment of the JAS 39 Griffin system.

The first delivery of thousands of F1 knives to the Swedish Armed Forces took place in August 1995, and sales to the civilian market began the following year.
