The Japanese VG10 steel used in this project, laminated with 67 layers and produced by Takefu Steel, is renowned for its exceptional resistance, durability, and ability to maintain a sharp edge over time. These characteristics make the steel ideal for high-quality knife production.

The 67-layer lamination technique gives the steel superior strength and flexibility compared to traditional steels. In designing the Belone, Danish Jesper Voxnaes started from typical lines of the Italian regional tradition, perfectly reworked according to his modern, minimalist style that has made him famous worldwide. The result is a light, tapered folding knife embellished with refined details, such as the holes in the back of the handle.
The Böhler M390 Microclean steel gives the Belone excellent cutting qualities, and the ball bearings make it the fastest flipper opening, perfectly integrated into the overall design. The carefully crafted ergonomically designed handle has an anodized titanium frame enclosed between thin carbon fiber folders. The Belone's clip is attached to the spacer so that the knife disappears completely into the pocket, maintaining maximum discretion.

Designed by master designer Fabrizio Silvestrelli, Moon is Viper's first knife to adopt the hardened "button lock," a locking mechanism that is activated by a button on the handle. This type of lock provides a secure and reliable lock for the blade.
