Daughter of Zeus and Themis, Atropos was the oldest of the three goddesses of fate in Greek mythology and, by cutting the thread of life, decided the good and evil of every human being. Captivated by this fascinating unease, American knife designer Chuck Gedraitis breaks free from the clutches of fate with the Boker Plus Atropos and takes control of the threads once more.

The shape of the tactical knife is modeled on the legendary tactical knives of Rex Applegate and respects its DNA with every cut. Symmetry is one of its distinguishing features, which is reflected both in the single-edged VG-10 blade and the ergonomic light brown Micarta handle. Guy Poggetti, a knife designer from Marseille, France, is fascinated by art, technology, and craftsmanship, and incorporates this dedication into his designs, as in the case of the Boker Plus Sanjo. This pocket knife, named after the town in the Niigata Prefecture, was designed in a neo-Japanese style.

As one of the four smiths, the dwarf Dvalin crafted the Brisingamen necklace for the Germanic goddess of love, Freya. In Norse mythology, this special jewel was attributed with magic, love, but also pain and suffering. Freya's tears in the sky always promised rich fruits on earth.

However, it was the wrath of the father of the gods, Odin, that often drove the goddess of love to instigate wars in the world of men. Dirk Hofmeister from Midgards Messer was inspired by the art of Nordic forging and created the folding blade version of the beloved Little Dvalin.

The powerful Dvalin Folder Tanto stands out for its compact size and features a Tanto blade in D2 steel with ball bearings, finished with a rough stonewash appearance and equipped with a deep groove on both sides for opening the folding knife using the recess as a nail lever.

The groove on the top of the blade provides a secure support for the thumb during complex cutting operations. Despite the wrath of the gods, the well-formed and partially grooved G10 handle always fits firmly in the hand. On the back of the handle is the stainless steel Frame Lock that securely locks the blade.

With a commercial 3D printer, it is possible to print alternative handles in a variety of shapes, colors, and materials. The Tip-Up (r) clip mirrors the texture of the handle, while the hole for the lanyard enhances ease of use. It comes with a high-quality nylon case for storage.

As a Filipino martial arts enthusiast, Italian knife designer Alessandra De Santis of Hydra Design decided to design a Karambit knife for Boker Plus. These sickle-shaped knives originated in Southeast Asia and were preferably used for harvesting rice. In contrast, the Karambit from Boker Plus comes in a tactical guise. The black-coated 154CM Hawkbill blade effortlessly slices its way through cardboard and ropes, while the black G10 handle and sturdy linerlock provide much-needed safety on the job.

Light weight and high efficiency form the backbone of the pocket knife named after the Norse goddess of the underworld. As an alternative to the flipper opening, the knife offers a thumb stud screwed into the back of the blade whose shape also serves as an "Emerson Wave"-style opening. Alessandra De Santis' characteristic angular design elements are found in the G10 ring at the end of the handle. The flush, reversible clip allows for flexible knife carrying. The great success of the Boker M4 Sherman Damascus, due not only to the history of the historic Damascus steel but also to the design, prompted us to use this as the basis for a performing and pleasant EDC with a titanium framelock, which, despite the metallurgy of the blade powders, also carries a real piece of M4 Sherman Damascus.

For the blade of the Sherman EDC we used Magnacut for the first time, which is not without reason celebrated as a "miracle steel". Unlike the usually used tool steels, this steel was specially developed for the production of knives. The three desirable properties of a steel - edge retention, toughness and resistance to rust (stainless in the DIN category) - represent a conflict of goals. To make the steel resistant to rust, the addition of chromium is necessary, which makes the structure coarse, brittle and prone to fracture under normal conditions. The high hardness, which has a positive influence on the cutting life, is usually achieved at the expense of toughness. With Magnacut, despite the high chromium content of 10.7% and an impressive hardenability of over 62HRC, it was possible to achieve a very fine microstructure and thus a high toughness and shock load tolerance. The addition of nitrogen plays a central role here.

The central structural difference compared to the M4 Damascus model is the elegantly integrated flipper, which allows the blade to open smoothly with a small impulse.

A special highlight of the Boker Sherman EDC is the protruding Damascus backspacer, which is equipped with a lanyard hole in an elongated slot design. The Damascus of the backspacer was forged from various materials from Chad Nichols' M4 Sherman tank production in the Customized Ladder pattern and resembles the tank tracks left in the ground by the heavy chains of the M4 Sherman.

The universal wide point blade with high saber sharpening has always been the hunter's favorite shape for both large and small game and is suitable for both precision and heavier tasks. The tang is continuous and protrudes a few millimeters from the end of the handle. This ensures maximum stability and the tang can withstand even powerful blows with a log or other object.
