The 117 Brahma Pro knife is a versatile tool designed for hunting and outdoor activities. It is often referred to as the 'mini 119 Special' because it shares the classic style of Buck's first fixed knives. The knife offers two main cutting options: the clip-shaped blade tip for precise and detailed work, and the middle part of the blade for sturdier and tougher tasks.

A notable feature of the 117 Brahma Pro is its traditional guard and pommel. These elements help ensure greater control and stability during use. In addition, the knife comes with a black genuine leather sheath that features a belt loop for convenient and accessible carrying.

Originally produced in 1967 as a combat model, and also used during the Vietnam conflict, the model 124 becomes discontinuous since 1997 only to be revived by Buck in the Heritage Collection 2012/2013 in a limited edition of only 700 copies. It is distinguished by the full tang blade and the handle in black linen micarta.
