The VULPIS series was born out of the need to create a compact, versatile, multi-purpose knife with a modern design that perfectly matches historical products. The inspiration for the creation of this line starts from the DUCA, the name of the typical multi-purpose knife of the people of Maniago, a knife that originated in the second half of the 1800s in Maniago, when hunting knife sharpeners with different sized blades, ivory toothpicks and tweezers for removing thorns were made.

These knives were presented at the 1888 National Exposition in Turin by the Bet Giovanni company, which won a gold medal for the quality of its products. So it was that, most likely, Luigi Amedeo di Savoia, Duke of the Abruzzi, decided to visit one of the company's two stores in Turin, where he saw and ordered the four-bladed multi-purpose knife, which he chose as part of the equipment for the North Pole expedition he commanded in 1899.

Guy Poggetti, a knife designer from Marseille, France, is fascinated by art, technology, and craftsmanship, and incorporates this dedication into his designs, as in the case of the Boker Plus Sanjo. This pocket knife, named after the town in the Niigata Prefecture, was designed in a neo-Japanese style.

Equipped with a Tanto blade in VG10 with ball bearings, this men's knife tackles everyday cutting tasks with stoic efficiency. For a neat look, the flipper completely disappears between the stainless steel liners when open, reflecting the striking stonewash finish of the blade and forming the inner center of the liner with the sturdy liner lock for closing. This is exactly the case with the Boker Damascus Annual Knife 2024. Inspired by the Boker BRLW, the slim collector's knife takes up the design of the classic Barlow and accentuates it in amodern way. The optically offset and precision-milled titanium handle is a stylistic defining feature, which quotes the characteristic, extra-long bolster in the front area according to old tradition and tastefully frames it in the rear handle area with feisty handle scales madeof fat carbon in the Dark Matter Orange pattern.

Adiscreetly integrated framelock locks the ball-bearingclip point blade made from 100-layer Damascus, which Chad Nichols has forged by hand in the breathtaking Black Boomerang pattern. The discreet flipper and the flat, milled titanium clip (tip-up/r) contribute to the elegant appearance, while the Boker tree decoratively adorns the blade's axle screw on the front. The lanyard hole on the handle provides additional carrying options.
