The Kiritsuke Shun Classic DM-0777 is a true work of art in the kitchen. The blade is made of VG MAX steel, known for its hardness of 61 (±1) HRC, which guarantees exceptional and long-lasting sharpness. The VG MAX steel core is covered with 32 layers of Damascus steel, giving the blade an unmistakable appearance and a perfect combination of stability, resistance and elasticity.

The blades of the Shun Classic series are sharpened on both sides, offering precision and ease of use. The tapered handle is made of durable pakka wood, maintaining the traditional Japanese chestnut shape. This material, enriched with fine resins, guarantees exceptional resistance to use and humidity.

The typical chestnut shape of the handle ensures a secure and ergonomic grip, thanks to the slight contouring on the right side. In addition, the continuous tang provides optimal stability and balance during use.
