The Amphibian is a true Marfione classic dating back over 20 years. It comes from a bygone era when Microtech knives could be both automatic and manual--in one. Here we have the manual version that incorporates Tony's RAM-LOK design with a reversible pocket clip and two thumb studs for a fully ambidextrous knife that sacrifices nothing in any way. It features Bohler's proprietary M390MK steel, available only from Microtech Knives. This Ka-Bar 1217, made in 1991, is a commemorative knife designed to mark the 50th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. This surprise attack, conducted by the Imperial Japanese Navy, aimed to destroy the U.S. Pacific Fleet and prevent a rapid response to Japanese expansion. The raid claimed the lives of about 2,400 people, including military personnel and civilians, and led the United States to enter World War II, declaring war on Japan the following day.

The Ka-Bar 1217, with its high-carbon steel blade and leather ring handle, has the same design as the legendary Ka-Bar knife used by U.S. soldiers during the conflict. The blade is engraved with the 50th anniversary logo and a symbolic image of Pearl Harbor, making the knife a collector's item and a tribute to the historical memory of the event. The Ka-Bar 1217 is not just a tool but a mark of honor and respect for the victims of the attack and the heroes who contributed to the victory of the United States during World War II.

Unlike the standard models, here we have engraving from the right side of the blade, hand-molded leather washers with an aged look, and even the scabbard is made like the 1940s models, with darker leather and steel staple points in addition to the traditional contrasting cream-colored stitching.

The VULPIS series was born out of the need to create a compact, versatile, multi-purpose knife with a modern design that perfectly matches historical products. The inspiration for the creation of this line starts from the DUCA, the name of the typical multi-purpose knife of the people of Maniago, a knife that originated in the second half of the 1800s in Maniago, when hunting knife sharpeners with different sized blades, ivory toothpicks and tweezers for removing thorns were made.

These knives were presented at the 1888 National Exposition in Turin by the Bet Giovanni company, which won a gold medal for the quality of its products. So it was that, most likely, Luigi Amedeo di Savoia, Duke of the Abruzzi, decided to visit one of the company's two stores in Turin, where he saw and ordered the four-bladed multi-purpose knife, which he chose as part of the equipment for the North Pole expedition he commanded in 1899.

The legacy of a classic - timeless - traditionally enduring and interpreted in a contemporary way by Boker Plus. The original Barlow probably owes its name to the enterprising knife maker from Sheffield, who began exporting robust knives to North America around 1800. 

The characteristic teardrop shape of the folding knife dates back to the 17th century, making it one of the oldest designs of all time. Instead of wood and silver, the Boker Plus Modern Barlow uses titanium-coated bolsters and elegant black micarta handle scales. The modern nail pull on the blade is complemented by a front flipper and a linerlock for locking the clip point blade made of Nitro-V steel with ball bearing rotation. 

The flat pivot screw, the two-tone brushed satin finish of the blade, and the elegant tip-up clip complete the tidy look of the pocket knife.

The legacy of a classic: a timeless tradition interpreted in a contemporary way by Boker Plus. The Trapper model owes its name to the hunters who roamed the forests of North America.

The knife's design dates back to the 19th century and is characterized by slender lines and the distinctive bolsters on the handle. The Boker Plus Modern Trapper Uno skips the rear bolster and opts for a front bolster coated in titanium with grey Micarta handle scales. Instead of a nail pull and slipjoint system typical of these models, this gentleman's knife uses a flipper and a liner lock to secure the drop point blade, which is mounted on a ball bearing and made of Nitro-V steel.

The flat central screw of the blade, the two-tone satin finish of the blade, and the elegant tip-up clip elegantly complete the neat appearance of this pocket knife.

The optically offset and precision-milled titanium handle is a stylistic defining feature, which quotes the characteristic, extra-long bolster in the front area according to old tradition and tastefully frames it in the rear handle area with feisty handle scales madeof fat carbon in the Dark Matter Orange pattern.

Adiscreetly integrated framelock locks the ball-bearingclip point blade made from 100-layer Damascus, which Chad Nichols has forged by hand in the breathtaking Black Boomerang pattern. The discreet flipper and the flat, milled titanium clip (tip-up/r) contribute to the elegant appearance, while the Boker tree decoratively adorns the blade's axle screw on the front. The lanyard hole on the handle provides additional carrying options.

The Amphibian is a true Marfione classic dating back over 20 years. It comes from a bygone era when Microtech knives could be both automatic and manual...in one. Here we have the manual version that incorporates Tony's RAM-LOK design with a reversible pocket clip and two thumb studs for a fully ambidextrous knife that sacrifices nothing in any way. It features Bohler's proprietary M390MK steel, available only from Microtech Knives. The knife is similar to the MSI Microtech Standard in terms of size, but when it comes to style, there is no comparison. In designing the Belone, Danish Jesper Voxnaes started from typical lines of the Italian regional tradition, perfectly reworked according to his modern, minimalist style that has made him famous worldwide. The result is a light, tapered folding knife embellished with refined details, such as the holes in the back of the handle.
The Böhler M390 Microclean steel gives the Belone excellent cutting qualities, and the ball bearings make it the fastest flipper opening, perfectly integrated into the overall design. The carefully crafted ergonomically designed handle has an anodized titanium frame enclosed between thin carbon fiber folders. The Belone's clip is attached to the spacer so that the knife disappears completely into the pocket, maintaining maximum discretion.

The Ant is the most compact among Extrema Ratio's folding knives. Despite its small size, this model features an extremely sturdy, durable, and reliable structure.

The Ant Rescue, unlike other versions, has a cheek piece in red coloration that allows the operator to more easily locate the knife in case of a fall. This version is equipped with a specific serration that allows cutting ropes and even high-tensile aramid materials. Moreover, this model has a tapered tang that serves as an emergency screwdriver. The Ant Rescue has been developed according to the needs expressed by the "Italian Army Alpine Troops School".

The handle is made of two different elements: the cheek piece crafted from anodized anticorodal aluminum and the hardened steel frame which also serves as the blade lock (Frame Lock System). This mechanism involves a part of the frame bending inward to firmly secure the blade in the open position, enhancing the user's safety during the knife's use.

The tang features a hole for the insertion of a lanyard, and on the right side of the handle, there is a steel clip that allows for concealed carry in the pocket.

The Ant is available in 4 versions with two different types of steel, both provided by Böhler, an Austrian company with which Extrema Ratio has been collaborating for over 20 years, using its highly esteemed materials for the production of its blades.
