Wood, simplicity, effectiveness: Opinel has tapped into its roots and expertise to create the Parallèle kitchen knife range. The beechwood handle, robust and soft in the palm of the hand, with simple and softened lines, ensures a comfortable grip and an inimitable touch. Handle: Beech is the most commonly used wood for Opinel handles. Sourced from French plantations, it is hard, durable, and easy to work with. The handle is varnished to be effectively protected from dirt and moisture.

The Model 16 was designed to meet the demand for an almost indestructible multi-purpose knife, including intensive use in salt water (careful cleaning and maintenance is however recommended). A special wax-impregnated sheath is included.

T4000S is a reworking of the Japanese Wakizashi short sword that the Samurai carried at all times in contact with the body. It is a timeless tactical tool that does not follow any fashion but faithfully respects the Extrema Ratio philosophy aimed at fulfilling all functional requirements.

This model continues Extrema Ratio's purest Tanto series designed especially for lovers of the Japanese blade profile, who do not want to give up typical tactical accessories such as textile sheath and special polymer handle. The blade is made of Bohler N690 steel, heat-treated to a hardness of 58 HRC.

The Shun Classic DM-0772 Kiritsuke is a true work of art in the kitchen. Renkei (連携) is a Japanese term that means collaboration, coordination, or connection. It is used to express the idea of working together, in close cooperation, to achieve a common goal or to create synergies between different people or organizations.

This project, born from the collaboration between Coltelleria Collini in Busto Arsizio and Coltelleria Due Cigni in Maniago, is an excellent example of synergy between two Italian companies specializing in the world of cutlery.

The Japanese VG10 steel used in this project, laminated to 67 layers and produced by Takefu Steel, is renowned for its extraordinary properties of strength, durability, and the ability to maintain a prolonged sharpness over time. These characteristics make the steel ideal for the production of high-quality knives.

The 67-layer lamination technique gives the steel superior strength and flexibility compared to traditional steels. Additionally, the use of this Japanese steel gives the knives a distinctive and elegant design, with a particular wave pattern on the surface of the blade that forms during the manufacturing process.

The collaboration between Coltelleria Collini and Coltelleria Due Cigni highlights how the combination of skills and traditions of two Italian entities can lead to the creation of high-quality products, capable of competing with the best kitchen knives on the international market.

Thanks to the use of precious materials and attention to detail, these knives combine the excellence of Made in Italy with the high quality of the Japanese tradition in the cutlery sector.

This line of knives fits between the Basic Folders series and the Heavy Folders series. The typical mechanism of the series is the LINER-LOCK. The overall structure is robust. All knives in the MF series have a rear glass breaker. They also feature the innovation of the adjusting locknut on the blade fixing pivot.

By removing the locknut it is possible to tighten or loosen the central pivot as desired, to achieve the desired opening fluidity. It will be enough to lock the pivot screw with the locknut to fix the adjustment. The hemispherical milling on the handles facilitate the change of grip from "saber grip" to "reverse grip". The clip is reversible.

The BC (Belt Cutter) version features a rear seatbelt cutter with an easily obtainable and replaceable industrial cutter blade. In addition, a slotted screwdriver is inserted inside the handle that allows for the adjustment and calibration of firearm optics. This version is produced with a rough grip to offer a better grip.
