Questopera della Valyrian Steel riproduce proprio il martello da guerra con cui Robert Baratheon sfond il petto corazzato di Rhaegar uccidendolo, mandando i rubini incastonati nella sua corazza pettorale a disperdersi nelle acque del fiume, insieme al sangue.

Jon Snow
Jon Snow nacque nel duecentottantatreesimo anno dopo la conquista del Continente Occidentale da parte di Aegon Targaryen; è il figlio illegittimo di Eddard Stark, avuto da una donna di cui il padre non gli ha mai rivelato il nome.
Il nome gli è stato dato in onore del protettore di Ned, Jon Arryn, mentre il cognome "Snow" al Nord è tradizionalmente dato ai figli bastardi di alto lignaggio. Pur non essendo uno Stark legittimo, Jon venne accettato dal padre e cresciuto assieme al resto della famiglia. Ebbe la stessa educazione del fratellastro coetaneo, Robb, con il quale è in ottimi rapporti, assieme ad Arya, Bran e Rickon. Sansa, invece, gli è sempre stata indifferente, mentre lady Catelyn non lo ha mai accettato, arrivando spesso ad odiarlo.

Jon è fisicamente molto simile al padre: alto, coi capelli scuri e gli occhi grigi. Ne possiede inoltre l'onore e il temperamento.
