Gabriele Sammatrice/Sicilian Forge Custom Knives is a skilled craftsman who offers blades with character, strength and cutting edges of the highest level. He often uses A8 Modified tool steel: a very strong alloy steel. The most common use of this alloy is in striking blades. It has extreme toughness with good edge retention. The 8.5% chromium makes it almost stainless.

A8-mod is a modified version of AISI A8. It is a tool steel with a medium carbon content and alloyed with chromium, molybdenum and vanadium. This steel is an improvement on A8 steel, with good hardenability, toughness and dimensional stability to heat treatment.

Notes: Canadian knifemaker Peter Marzitelli, began making knives full-time in 1984 under the name "Marz Knives." Considered an excellent knifemaker and artist specializing in handmade knives, Peter passed away at age 65 in May 2019. His motto was "A Marzitelli knife, is a knife for life."

Released in 2023, the MSI (Microtech Standard Issue) is the first Microtech knife to feature the fantastic RAM-LOK technology. This sturdy reinterpretation of the sleeper lock features Microtech's distinctive stepped pattern, made famous by the Ultratech series trigger switches. The wide blade cutout provides ample room for reverse middle finger movement and standard slow-rotation thumb opening, with or without gloves. Designed specifically for the seven Mercury Program astronauts, the Model 17 accompanied these pioneers on the United States' first manned space flights. To celebrate Pohl Force's 15th anniversary, the popular Bravo One and Two Gen. 1 folding knife models are being reissued with a few minor updates.

From the very beginning, their compact size and shape made them ideal companions for everyday use. And that has not changed to this day. Like the Alpha Two X, on the occasion of the company's 10th anniversary, with the original handle design from the first generation. The new Classic Edition also features other details, such as the locking mechanism, the pocket clip that can be mounted on either the right or left side, and the two-handed blade opening.

It is not only the Pohl Force that is celebrating an anniversary, but also the designer and company founder Dietmar Pohl. In the early 1990s, now 30 years ago, he created his first knife designs on paper, thus opening a new chapter in his life. The Japanese steel manufacturer Hitachi's ATS-34, which is the counterpart to the American 154CM steel, was one of the most popular steels of the time. The highly corrosion-resistant ATS-34 impresses with its exceptional sharpness and high edge retention.

The Bravo Two Classic BK is equipped with an FDE (Flat Dark Earth) fibreglass handle and a Tanto blade with a Dark Stonewashed finish.

To celebrate Pohl Force's 15th anniversary, the popular Bravo One and Two Gen. 1 folding knife models are being reissued with a few minor updates.

From the very beginning, their compact size and shape made them ideal companions for everyday use. And that has not changed to this day. Like the Alpha Two X, on the occasion of the company's 10th anniversary, with the original handle design from the first generation. The new Classic Edition also features other details, such as the locking mechanism, the pocket clip that can be mounted on either the right or left side, and the two-handed blade opening.

It is not only the Pohl Force that is celebrating an anniversary, but also the designer and company founder Dietmar Pohl. In the early 1990s, now 30 years ago, he created his first knife designs on paper, thus opening a new chapter in his life. The Japanese steel manufacturer Hitachi's ATS-34, which is the counterpart to the American 154CM steel, was one of the most popular steels of the time.
