The Pohl Force Hornet XL Custom Edition 2009 is a high-quality tactical knife, the result of collaboration between Pohl Force and renowned American knifemaker Spencer A. Reiter. With the new Compact models, designer Dietmar Pohl has developed a series of extremely robust and very compact knives for everyday use.

The focus is on the massive classic Drop Point blade of the Compact Two, which is 86 millimeters long and designed to be enormously solid with a thickness of 6 mm. The well-known D2 tool steel was chosen for the blade's high cutting strength and resilience. The surface of the blade has a tactical, non-reflective TiNi titanium nitriding coating that provides excellent protection against external corrosives.

The reduced handle design is the basis for the knife's very compact size. The pleasantly rounded tang and cleverly designed finger recesses, in combination with the G-10 handle grips, which are also CNC milled, provide a good, secure grip. Distinctive grooves in the front area of the grip serve as an index finger and thumb rest.

The Compact TWO BK is equipped with a robust, high-quality Kydex sheath in black. The Tac-Clip belt adapter, which can be mounted in various positions, allows flexible and safe carrying.
