The tines of the forks, unlike those of stamped cutlery, are thin, hand-turned, close-set and pointed.  This traditional dough rising basket allows bread dough to rise, gives your loaves support, preventing it from spreading out during the final rise and gives a pretty spiral pattern. The dough rising basket is also known as bannetons or brotforms. The natural rattan cane basket is easy to use. Knead the dough according to the recipe.
