Il Red Spacer KA-BAR è probabilmente il coltello KA-BAR più collezionabile realizzato durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Leif is believed to have been born around 970, second son of Erik the Red (Eiríkr Rauði), a Norwegian, son of Thorvald Asvaldsson, great grandson of Naddoddr, the discoverer of Iceland. His mother was Þjoðhildur. His father had founded two Viking colonies, the Western Settlement and the Eastern Settlement, in Greenland, a land to which he himself had given its name.

Robert I Bruce was king of Scotland from 1306 to 1329. Of Norman and Scottish Gaelic ancestry, he was one of the greatest kings of Scotland, and also one of the most famous warriors of his era. He led Scotland against the Kingdom of England during the Scottish Independence Wars.
He was the great-grandson of David I of Scotland and was often at odds with the Scottish hero William Wallace.

W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company was created at the beginning of the century, at a time when pocket knives were as indispensable as a watch. Over the years the company has established itself as a leading company in the market launch of new materials and innovative designs.

The company's roots date back to 1889, when enterprising brothers, William Russell (W.R.), Jean, John and Andrew, in the Case family began selling craft knives from the back of a van in northern New York. In January 1900, the brothers formed the Case Brothers Cutlery Company, thus founding the first family brand Case.

J.R. Case, which he called the company with the name of his father, W.R., formed the W.R. Case & Sons in the form in which it is known today. When the company moved to Bradford, Pennsylvania in 1905, the four Case brothers had made their family brands the most respectable names in cutlery in America.

At the beginning of World War I, the government appealed to the Case for the production of military knives for American fighters. During the flight of the "Molly Brown" in 1965, astronauts Gus Grissom and John Young used special Case knives in the NASA space mission. Reproduction of the Italian Renaissance dagger potentially worn on the belt by Lorenzo de 'Medici. Said Lorenzo the Magnificent (Florence, 1 January 1449 - Careggi, 8 April 1492), he was lord of Florence from 1469 to his death, the third of the Medici dynasty. He was also a writer, patron, poet and humanist, as well as one of the most significant politicians of the Renaissance, both for having incarnated the ideal of the humanist prince, and for the very careful management of power.

The cut-free dagger on both sides is made of carbon steel, with precise and accurate workmanship and leather finishes. The hilt and the knob are in steel and the handle is covered in soft black leather. Comes with a leather sheath and steel fittings.

From KA-BAR regarding the special engraved logo: The engraved logo features the historical "The Union" logo from the early 1900s, a bear, and the years marking 120 years - 1898 and 2018.
The significance of the bear is in the KA-BAR name itself. An Alaskan hunter was attacked by a Kodiak bear, but successfully defended himself using his Union Cutlery knife. The hunter was so thankful that he sent a letter describing the ordeal with "K a Bar" (Kill a Bear) as well as sending in the bear fur. The officers of Union Cutlery decided to adopt KA-BAR as a trademark in 1924.
