The Arbiter concept was originally sketched out by Adam Marfione in 2012. Microtech is excited to bring this piece into production as Adam begins to become an integral part of the team. Previously available only as a custom knife, the Arbiter features a 9" bowie-style clip point blade with an elegant curved primary cutting edge that flows into a raised tip with devastating penetrating power. The Amphibian is a true Marfione classic dating back over 20 years. It comes from a bygone era when Microtech knives could be both automatic and manual--in one. Here we have the manual version that incorporates Tony's RAM-LOK design with a reversible pocket clip and two thumb studs for a fully ambidextrous knife that sacrifices nothing in any way. It features Bohler's proprietary M390MK steel, available only from Microtech Knives. The knife is similar to the MSI Microtech Standard in terms of size, but when it comes to style, there is no comparison. The Amphibian is one of the finest tactical knives ever, and we are happy to see it available again for the masses!
