From the very beginning, their compact size and shape made them ideal companions for everyday use. And that has not changed to this day. It is not only the Pohl Force that is celebrating an anniversary, but also the designer and company founder Dietmar Pohl. In the early 1990s, now 30 years ago, he created his first knife designs on paper, thus opening a new chapter in his life. The Japanese steel manufacturer Hitachi's ATS-34, which is the counterpart to the American 154CM steel, was one of the most popular steels of the time. For almost a decade, ATS-34 steel remained the first choice of custom knife manufacturers, before powder metallurgy steel took off in the 2000s. To mark the company's anniversary, Dietmar Pohl was able to obtain 'his' steel again in a very limited quantity and use it for the Classic Edition of the Bravo One / Two. The highly corrosion-resistant ATS-34 impresses with its exceptional sharpness and high edge retention.

Five steps to achieve a quality product. In order to make Alexander's handicraft products from steel, there are five steps of careful processing, lughe and expensive: 

Forged by incandescent bars of stainless steel 

hot coiling 

trimming the profile and the interior

baking and folding

tempera.

In addition to the above mentioned steps, normal finishing operations (mirroring, handle machining) are added.

Knife blades are sharp as sharpened by hand. Manicure is in buffalo horn.

The knife is accompanied by a magnetised support that can be hung in walnut wood.
