Citadel Knives and Swords is a sword and knife manufacturer based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Despite the country's reputation as an exotic and remote location, the company is easily accessible, located close to the city's international airport. The workshop is modest but houses an impressive range of high-quality Japanese swords and knives.

Founded by Dominique Eluere in the 1990s, Citadel has combined the expertise of French and local craftsmen to produce blades that rival the best in the world. Eluere began by training Cambodian blacksmiths to make French table knives, later evolving into the production of Japanese swords.

The quality of Citadel swords is world renowned, thanks to the use of traditional Japanese techniques and a meticulous manufacturing process. Each katana is heat treated, creating a blade with varying hardness along the edge and spine, a hallmark of true katanas. The hilt is fully encased in high-quality stingray leather, a rarity compared to common panels.

Attention to detail extends to every element, with every component custom-made for each blade. This includes the tsuba (sword guard) and habaki (blade collar), both of which are hand-crafted and fitted, ensuring perfect fit and functionality.

In addition to katanas, Citadel also produces European swords and knives, maintaining the same philosophy of quality and functionality. Production is artisanal, with particular attention to polishing and finishing, often done by hand with sandpaper and whetstones.

Citadel is proud of its Cambodian roots, with local workers looking up to Eluere as a father figure and deeply involved in maintaining the company's high standards.

In short, Citadel Knives and Swords represents a perfect fusion of tradition, craftsmanship and innovation, offering products that are truly functional works of art. These tools, while expensive, represent an investment in quality and craftsmanship that is hard to match.

    PRODUCTS FOR COCKTAILS HOST

The love for innovative design applied to the world of wine is Host's guiding star. The result is a line of products that are as beautiful as they are functional. The shapes and lines of the objects are designed to combine the pleasure of beauty with the comfort of the useful; the packaging is fresh and cared for in every detail; the spirit is attentive and sensitive to the enhancement of the qualities of wine. We know that serving wine at the wrong temperature is one of the most common mistakes made with fine wines. Or, again, it is often thought that red wine should be enjoyed at room temperature: one of the trends of summer 2013, however, was Chianti served chilled.

Have you ever wanted a warm beer in winter or a chilled red wine in summer? No, everything needs to be at the right temperature.

Host Freeze is just that: keep it in the freezer and when you feel like having a drink, it will be ready.

Just pour and enjoy the well-deserved refreshment! The Freeze margarita glass is ideal for enjoying your favourite cocktail: kept in the freezer for at least two hours, it keeps it at a temperature of between 6°C and 11°C; if you keep it in the fridge it will keep it between 14°C and 16°C. For those who haven't got their act together yet, a Seattle-based company has come to the rescue: the Host Freeze Cooling team has created these ingenious wine glasses that automatically cool even the hottest liquid. The glass is surrounded by a gel which cools down if the glasses are placed back in the fridge. This ensures that the cocktail is at the right temperature for perfect enjoyment, especially in the warmer seasons.

An original idea that can prove to be very valuable in case of last minute dinners, or for the eternally careless who forget to refrigerate bottles of fine wine in time.

Pack of 2 glasses in 355ml capacity.

TWIST Host Mini Tilt is the perfect solution for aerating your wine wherever you are. At home, with friends and even on the road! Tilt, oxygenate and store!

HOW TO USE THE MINI TILT -Apply the Mini Tilt to your bottle, pour and ... close the cork! -As well as aerating the wine, you can preserve it with a minimum of effort and preserve all its qualities. Like the Tilt, the Mini Tilt allows you to choose the oxygenation best suited to your wine: the more you tilt, the more you oxygenate.

Weak inclination (0-45°) = light aeration Moderate inclination (30-60°) = normal aeration Strong inclination (45-90°) = strong aeration

    OXYGENATES IN THE RIGHT WAY

Correct aeration of wine softens tannins and allows aromas to be enhanced. Every wine needs the correct amount of oxygen to express its full potential. Generally speaking, the rule applies that an ageing wine that is still young needs more oxygenation in order to be able to release all its aromas to the full; an aged wine, on the other hand, needs to be oxygenated more gently so that it retains the residual fruity notes and vigour that it has endured during the ageing process.

TWIST Host Tilt The more you tilt, the more you oxygenate. -With Tilt you can aerate your wine glass instantly.

Thanks to Bernoulli's principle, you regulate the oxygenation according to the tilt at which you pour: weak tilt (0-45°) = light aeration moderate tilt (30-60°) = normal aeration strong tilt (45-90°) = strong aeration

    HOW TO USE THE TILT

Apply the Tilt to the neck of your bottle and pour by adjusting the tilt according to how much you want to oxygenate your wine. Once poured, remove the Tilt and sip in relaxation.

Host - Wine Freeze - set of 4 universal glasses - REFRIGERATORS

    HOST WINE PRODUCTS

The love for innovative design applied to the world of wine is the polar star of Host.

    Just pour and enjoy the well-deserved refreshment! The Freeze wine glass is ideal for enjoying both red and white wine: kept in the freezer for at least two hours, it keeps the wine at a temperature of between 6°C and 11°C;

If you keep it in the fridge, it will keep it between 14°C and 16°C. For those who haven't got their act together yet, a Seattle-based company has come to the rescue: the Host Freeze Cooling team has created these ingenious wine glasses that automatically cool even the hottest liquid. The glass is surrounded by a gel which cools down when the glasses are placed back in the refrigerator. This ensures that the wine is at the right temperature for perfect tasting, especially in the warmer seasons.

An original idea that can be very useful for last-minute dinners, or for the ever-inconsiderate who forget to refrigerate bottles of fine wine in time.

Pack of 4 glasses in 4 different colours, capacity 250ml.

    PRODOTTI PER VINO HOST L’amore per il design innovativo applicato al mondo del vino è la stella polare di Host. Il risultato è una linea di prodotti tanto belli quanto funzionali. Le forme e le linee degli oggetti sono studiate per unire il piacere del bello al comfort dell’utile;
