Frodo and Sam briefly glimpsed two of these creatures on their way to Mordor, but in the assault on Minas Tirith these mighty beasts are gathered in greater numbers and for terrible purposes. Armed with cruel armaments and saddled by their Haradrim masters with tall war towers, the Mûmakil charge into battle, crushing and destroying all in their path. From their high, precarious perches, the Haradrim hurl arrows and spears at their foes as their beasts trample both horse and man.

The defeat of one of the mighty Mûmakil is masterfully depicted in this polystone statue, sculpted by Weta Workshop artist, David Meng. With the war tower on the brink of collapse and all the Haradrim knights slain, this colossal beast is depicted in the midst of its inevitable downfall. Each piece is cast and painted by hand, and the base includes the artist's signature and edition information.
