With the Pohl Force MK-8 and MK-9 knives at its side, the legendary Rambo series (1982-2019), which like no other has made the knife the most important part of its equipment on the big screen, comes to an end.

The Pohl Force LAST BLOOD® CNC² Edition MK-9 is a perfectly designed knife in the eye-catching Spear Point style that looks like a modern, tactical tool in the unmistakable Pohl design.

Only strong and high quality materials are used for its manufacturing: the stainless steel 90Cr18MoV (440C) hardened at 57/58HRC gives the 23cm long and 6mm thick blade a high corrosion resistance and an excellent edge retention. The full tang construction is topped with a micarta handle that ends in an aesthetic element that can be used as a striking tool.

The micarta machining gives the handle a distinctive look with three-dimensional millings, and the handle and blade are visually connected by a CNC-milled guard machined from a solid block of stainless steel. A subhilt on the underside of the handle provides maximum control in handling the blade giving the MK-9 a distinctive look. It is completed by the ever-present knotted camouflage paracord lanyard that distinguishes all Pohl Force productions and matches exactly the same paracord used in the filming of the movie.

The knife comes with a leather sheath of the highest quality and is sold with a 3D Velcro patch and a cloth for care and cleaning.

The new Classic Edition also features other details, such as the locking mechanism, the pocket clip that can be mounted on either the right or left side, and the two-handed blade opening.

In the early 1990s, now 30 years ago, he created his first knife designs on paper, thus opening a new chapter in his life. The Japanese steel manufacturer Hitachi's ATS-34, which is the counterpart to the American 154CM steel, was one of the most popular steels of the time. For almost a decade, ATS-34 steel remained the first choice of custom knife manufacturers, before powder metallurgy steel took off in the 2000s. To mark the company's anniversary, Dietmar Pohl was able to obtain 'his' steel again in a very limited quantity and use it for the Classic Edition of the Bravo One / Two. The highly corrosion-resistant ATS-34 impresses with its exceptional sharpness and high edge retention.

The Bravo Two Classic BK is equipped with a black fibreglass handle and a Tanto blade with an exciting two-tone finish (stonewashed/satin-finished lengthwise).

Developed as the Ground Forces Combat & General Purpose Weapon, the multi-purpose knife was designed for the U.S. Marine Corps in the early 1950s. Although it was never officially introduced, it clearly demonstrated its capabilities in the Vietnam War, especially in the hands of American special forces. Almost 70 years after its first design, the modern Pohl Force interpretation of this classic represents the perfect fusion of old-school classic design and modern high-tech production.

Designer Dietmar Pohl has revised the design of the Quebec One and expanded the knife's range of functions. The blade of the new Quebec Two is now made of D2 steel instead of Sleipner, which brings higher levels of carbon and chromium, thus significantly improving cut and corrosion resistance. In addition, Dietmar Pohl has once again optimized the blade of the classic. The new version now has a 10 mm longer cutting edge and a secondary edge on the back.

In addition, the Pohl Force Prepper System has been integrated into the handle of the Quebec Two to safely store survival items inside the handle. A tool to open the handle screws is included. Pohl Force's new scabbard system allows for greatly increased use. The highly elaborate sheath, made of 2.5-mm-thick Kydex, with belt adapter and leg strap, allows for high carrying comfort. The sturdy 20cm long and 6mm thick spear point blade is suitable for a wide range of applications. For high edge retention and blade resilience, the choice fell on the well-known D2 tool steel.

The stonewashed finish creates a scratch-resistant surface and also increases the blade's resistance to corrosion. The step-shaped grip design offers an excellent and secure grip. For powerful or delicate work, the pronounced and also rounded finger recess in front of the guard allows the knife to lean forward. La robusta lama spear point lunga 20 centimetri e spessa 6 millimetri è adatta per un'ampia gamma di applicazioni. Per un'elevata ritenzione del filo e resilienza della lama, la scelta è ricaduta sul noto acciaio per utensili D2.

The XFETTA truffle slicer consists of a single piece according to the logic of less is more that characterizes many of my choices; it cuts slices all of the same thickness, because precision is one of the characteristics that contribute to making dishes as repeatable as possible in taste, taking into account the climate and season variables.

I chose the name XFETTA to convey two concepts: The first is that the slice has an ideal thickness and is therefore ideally “perfect” to enhance the truffle and its unmistakable scent; the second is that each slice is perfectly equal to the other. And even if we read "ICSFETTA", the meaning of all equal slices would multiply ... infinitely. I decided to write XFETTA and not Perfetta so that even the name is as slender as the object it represents and that was born - like all my design projects - from the daily observation of the guest and the kitchen, harmonizing simplicity, functionality and essentiality.

To engineer and realize this product in the best possible way and guarantee a high quality level, I entrusted myself to Ambrogio Sanelli and his company that has been dealing with this kind of objects since 1864 in Premana (Lecco). The choice of the best steels and the design of cutting-edge technical solutions are fundamental for them, taking advantage of a combination of tradition and craftsmanship quality and technological innovation. The exceptional design of XFETTA - challenging and difficult to manufacture - with asymmetrical handle and special sharpening, makes it possible to make a clean and immediate cut with unrivaled freedom of movement.

With the Quebec One, Pohl Force has implemented a classic use knife that
has been high on the wish list of company founder Dietmar Pohl for more than 20 years. Finally Pohl Force has received exclusive permission of the original manufacturer to be able to use the basic design for its own interpretation. As a “Ground Forces Combat & General Purpose Weapon“ the knife was developed in the early ‚50’s for the U.S. Marine Corps.
Although never officially introduced, it was used in Vietnam -mainly in the hands of Special Forces units where it clearly demonstrated its capabilities. Pohl Force has now recreated 60 years later a modern interpretation of this classic knife which displays the optimal fusion of a classic old school design, with modern high- tech manufacturing.
