Released in 2023, the MSI (Microtech Standard Issue) is the first Microtech knife to feature the fantastic RAM-LOK technology. This sturdy reinterpretation of the sleeper lock features Microtech's distinctive stepped pattern, made famous by the Ultratech series trigger switches. The wide blade cutout provides ample room for reverse middle finger movement and standard slow-rotation thumb opening, with or without gloves. Nicolai Lilin, a Russian writer, of Siberian origin, designed  Reactor in memory of the operation of the Russian navy special forces in 2010, near the coast of Somalia, when in 22 minutes two operational corps of the marines rescued from the pirates a kidnapped  merchantile ship   that was carrying oil. On that occasion the militaries could not use firearms to prevent the ship from exploding, so they only used knives. They caught 30 terrorists in 22 minutes.
