To celebrate Pohl Force's 15th anniversary, the popular Bravo One and Two Gen. 1 folding knife models are being reissued with a few minor updates.

From the very beginning, their compact size and shape made them ideal companions for everyday use. And that has not changed to this day. Like the Alpha Two X, on the occasion of the company's 10th anniversary, with the original handle design from the first generation. The new Classic Edition also features other details, such as the locking mechanism, the pocket clip that can be mounted on either the right or left side, and the two-handed blade opening.

It is not only the Pohl Force that is celebrating an anniversary, but also the designer and company founder Dietmar Pohl. In the early 1990s, now 30 years ago, he created his first knife designs on paper, thus opening a new chapter in his life. The Japanese steel manufacturer Hitachi's ATS-34, which is the counterpart to the American 154CM steel, was one of the most popular steels of the time. For almost a decade, ATS-34 steel remained the first choice of custom knife manufacturers, before powder metallurgy steel took off in the 2000s. To mark the company's anniversary, Dietmar Pohl was able to obtain 'his' steel again in a very limited quantity and use it for the Classic Edition of the Bravo One / Two. The highly corrosion-resistant ATS-34 impresses with its exceptional sharpness and high edge retention.

The Bravo Two Classic BK is equipped with a black fibreglass handle and a Tanto blade with an exciting two-tone finish (stonewashed/satin-finished lengthwise).

In addition, the Pohl Force Prepper System has been integrated into the handle of the Quebec Two to safely store survival items inside the handle. A tool to open the handle screws is included. Pohl Force's new scabbard system allows for greatly increased use. The highly elaborate sheath, made of 2.5-mm-thick Kydex, with belt adapter and leg strap, allows for high carrying comfort. W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company was created at the beginning of the century, at a time when pocket knives were as indispensable as a watch. Over the years the company has established itself as a leading company in the market launch of new materials and innovative designs.

The company's roots date back to 1889, when enterprising brothers, William Russell (W.R.), Jean, John and Andrew, in the Case family began selling craft knives from the back of a van in northern New York. In January 1900, the brothers formed the Case Brothers Cutlery Company, thus founding the first family brand Case.

J.R. Case, which he called the company with the name of his father, W.R., formed the W.R. Case & Sons in the form in which it is known today. When the company moved to Bradford, Pennsylvania in 1905, the four Case brothers had made their family brands the most respectable names in cutlery in America.

At the beginning of World War I, the government appealed to the Case for the production of military knives for American fighters. The inspiration behind the KEY-BAR was the annoyance of the noise and disorganization of the many keys that creator Michael Taylor carries daily. In his workshop one weekend he decided to do something about his problem. After many hours of research, trial and error and several prototypes later, he arrived at the current version of the KEY-BAR.

The new Zero Tolerance 0609 is a smaller, even more carry-ready version of the original Factory Custom 0606CF from ZT, RJ Martin, and Matt Martin. Like the original, it offers a clean, streamlined look yet also has highly detailed handle machining that adds both grip and visual impact. For even more visual “wow,” the 3D-machined handle is built of light-yet-strong titanium that ZT has anodized in an attractive bronze.

The 3.4-inch blade is CPM 20CV, which provides enhanced toughness and resistance to edge chipping. It also delivers superior hardness, corrosion resistance, and excellent edge retention. The drop-point blade has a two-tone finish: machined satin on the grinds with a stonewashed finish on the flats. The new 0609 opens manually with ZT’s KVT ball-bearing opening system and the handy flipper so it’s always ready when you want it.

Last—but certainly not least—you’ll notice the oversized See-Through Pivot (STP). Designed by RJ Martin, this unique, pivot is hollow in the center, letting you “see through” it. The See-Through Pivot adds another intriguing touch to this already-attractive knife.
