W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company was created at the beginning of the century, at a time when pocket knives were as indispensable as a watch. Over the years the company has established itself as a leading company in the market launch of new materials and innovative designs.

The company's roots date back to 1889, when enterprising brothers, William Russell (W.R.), Jean, John and Andrew, in the Case family began selling craft knives from the back of a van in northern New York. In January 1900, the brothers formed the Case Brothers Cutlery Company, thus founding the first family brand Case.

J.R. Case, which he called the company with the name of his father, W.R., formed the W.R. Case & Sons in the form in which it is known today. When the company moved to Bradford, Pennsylvania in 1905, the four Case brothers had made their family brands the most respectable names in cutlery in America.

At the beginning of World War I, the government appealed to the Case for the production of military knives for American fighters. During the flight of the "Molly Brown" in 1965, astronauts Gus Grissom and John Young used special Case knives in the NASA space mission. AdHoc developed the MRS. BEAN coffee grinder so that grinding your favourite varieties is effortless. It works manually using an energy-efficient crank handle but otherwise has nothing to do with great-grandma’s old-fashioned hand grinder with its totally modern and very stylish look in elegant stainless steel and acrylic design. MRS. BEAN is equipped with a high-performance CeraCutXL® grinder that preserves the flavour and produces large amounts. With the help of the six PRECISE+® grinding settings on the outside, results can be achieved from powder fine to coarse according to your preference and depending on which preparation method you are going to use. The grinder container holds approx. 50 grams of coffee beans. The collection container is designed for approx. 25 grams (on setting 2) of coffee powder and can easily removed by unscrewing. The inspiration behind the KEY-BAR was the annoyance of the noise and disorganization of the many keys that creator Michael Taylor carries daily. In his workshop one weekend he decided to do something about his problem. After many hours of research, trial and error and several prototypes later, he arrived at the current version of the KEY-BAR.
